Hey y'all, I was just wondering if any of you guys knew of any other sites/forums/pages/sandwiches that were lbgt-friendly, besides TH. I love surfin the web and finding new things, so any suggestions would be great.
“I cannot prevent anyone from getting angry, or mad, or frustrated. I can only hope that they’ll turn that anger and frustration and madness into something positive, so that two, three, four, five hundred will step forward, so the gay doctors will come out, the gay lawyers, the gay judges, gay bankers, gay architects … I hope that every professional gay will say ‘enough’, come forward and tell everybody, wear a sign, let the world know. Maybe that will help.” Harvey Milk, 1978

You can always try things like It Gets Better, The Trevor Project, etc.
You can also try a blog/YouTube channel I created and run called LBGTLove. The Tumblr is: LBGTLove.tumblr.com and the YouTube Channel is: LBGTLove Hope that helps.

We actually can't give forums, I believe in Code of Conduct, it says that we cannot give "sites that compete with TeenHelp." TeenHelp offers great LGBT resources, along with those foundations Bri talks about and her awesome blog.

As Traci said, it's best if you don't advertise sites that could be considered competitors of TeenHelp, which include most forums and Chat Rooms. There are some exceptions, listed here in the Resources page. There are also a couple of articles, here, which you can check out. Since there aren't many sites we can recommend without going against the Code of Conduct, I'm going to close this thread, and suggest that you just try doing a Google-search to see what you come up with. PM me if you disagree.
Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |
