Question A bit confused - January 28th 2012, 04:40 PM

Alright, I'll explain this the best I can, but I'm not especially good at explaining, so bear with me.

Ever since I've had signs of a chest I've hated it. I wore loose shirts for a long time, but those just didn't hide it well (I also wore them because I had an ED and just hated my body, but before that and after it was because of my breasts). I started wearing a sportsbra to hide it a little better, and that's helped, so I'm starting to feel a little more confident. The thing is, there are days when I like having a chest and I like being a girl. They aren't as common as days I don't like it, but they still happen. I just can't sort through my feelings and the things I want enough to understand myself! It's so frustrating. Can anyone help?

Hey, first off I want to reassure you that what you are experiencing is normal!

Now, I don't think you need any help, if you like being a girl one day and other days you don't that is normal, if you want to play with your gender, that is also normal.

I don't quite understand your question, so all I can say is: Don't worry, its all normal, you can be whatever sex you feel is right one minute and then you can change. If your breasts have just started to grow I assume you've just hit puberty, so you may grow out of your feelings.

Feel free to pm me

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection

Hi. I understand, I'm also "female". Before this year female was all I knew, but now I find myself hiding my boobs and feeling like I should be a guy, but other times like I could be a girl. There are plenty different labels for it, but you shouldn't feel the need to label yourself, at all. I go under pangender and am considering being transgender.

Pm me if you ever need help, and I know a bit about binding (hiding your boobs, through I suck at it because... their huge :/ ^^' But I do pretty well, considering)

In a world filled with diversity, I am just another oddity.

I'm a work-in-progress, take it or leave it.

I just wanted to know if it was normal. Like, I started puberty when I was 11 and I'm almost 16 now, so it's not like having boobs and having these feelings are new for me. It's just confusing, I guess, because I didn't really know before I was 15 that boys and girls ever dressed like each other (naive much? xD) or liked each other (I like girls). I thought these feelings were weird and I pushed them inside and, although I constantly allowed myself to regret and loathe being a female (my excuse was that my parents had wanted a boy and I'd ruined their perfect family, which they've told me many times) I never allowed myself to consider actually seeming like a guy. The only times I'm okay with being a female are in ballet and sometimes on random occassions (very rare) but even during ballet I hate appearing feminine and the only thing I like about being a female are pointe and being lifted.

And thanks, George. c:> Glad to know I'm not alone in feeling like this.
