I was having a discussion with my boyfriend the other day and to sum it up it kinda went like this..
Me- " Just becuase a girl watches lesbian porn doesn't make her a lesbian." Him- "If a guy watched gay porn it would mean he was gay. It shouldn't be any different with girls." But I think it so is! I don't think i'm a lesbian because i'm very attracted to my boyfriend ( and male parts..blahh blahh) but sometimes I just feel attracted to the idea of being with a girl. I would never cheat on him or anything like that.. but do you think if a girl watches lesbian porn that she's bisexual or a lesbian? Porn is entertainment and being lesbian or being bisexual is having an attraction to the same sex (in this case, girls). Two totally different things. Now people would probably THINK someones gay (or bisexual, etc.) If someone watched same sex porn, but that's not the case and its just a generalization.

I'm not saying this is for everyone or anything.. but does watching straight porn make anyone gay? I mean, they're technically watching the same sex. No. It doesn't. A decent amount of lesbians like guy/guy porn, and they're not really attracted to the opposite sex. It has little to do with your sexuality.

I don't see how what porn you watch connects to your sexuality, Unless your watching that porn because of your sexuality.
Honestly, I don't see the problem of a straight girl watching lesbian porn, I haven't, not straight or lesbian, but I'm not sure about what to say concerning two guys (Does Junjou Romantica count? I use to be a gigantic JR fan, among other books, through my friend...) In a world filled with diversity, I am just another oddity.

I don't see a problem with it. It doesn't make you a lesbian or bisexual. Sometimes people just enjoy other things when it comes to porn.

You're sexuality is not usually based on the porn you watch. It's completely normal for a teen to watch same-sex porn. He should calm down...

Sometimes the sheer idea of doing something uncharacteristic or taboo is arousing. If a girl watches lesbian porn it doesn't mean she's bi same as if a guy were to watch gay porn. It could just be a "Let me try it" thing. Problem with people these days is everyone is so obsessed with labels.

Of course not, that's silleh. I' not sure if someone else had said this but it's been scientifically proven that women's bodies are more arousing visually, for straight girls AND guys. I prefer girl-on-girl porn, ok, partly because I'm attracted to girls but also because personally I find it less....degrading to women (just my opinion.) I don't think you should worry about it. Maybe he just needs reassurance that you prefer being with him and all his manly bits to watching girls on a screen. :P

That's just silly talk. What type of porn you watch doesn't change your sexuality at all, it's just entertainment that you watch to get your kicks off too or out of curiosity. It doesn't mean you're suddenly going to start wanting to date guys cause you watched gay porn or date girls cause you watched lesbian porn.
