Unhappy I just don't know... - February 6th 2012, 03:22 AM

So, I'm really confused. I was with some friends over the weekend, and I've been considering doing drag for quite a while, so when we were at Kohl's, I got some men's clothes and tried them on. My friends (as well as myself) were blown away by how good I looked "as a man," and I can honestly say that that's the best I've felt for a long time. After we did this, I realized that my... well-endowed chest would get in the way of me successfully looking like a man, so we went to Wal-Mart and I got a couple ACE bandages, and when we got back to my friend's house, I wrapped myself to see how I looked. I actually looked like a man (I put on boxers too ), and to be honest, it was the closest I've been to happy in a long time.
The thing is, I have a woman's body, but mentally, I'm not either gender. BUT, a lot of the time I wish I was a guy. Whenever I get my period, it's practically agonizing because I hate it so much, but I love having sex and I love my vagina, most of the time. When I was younger though, I used to wake up every morning and wish I'd turned into a boy.
Am I trans?

Hey, It's your gender. Your not alone, I have no problems with a vagina, but I want to be a guy, really bad too. (Only recently, Gender has never really bothered me.)

Can I just give a point of advice? Don't use ACE bandages, because they can cause bodily harm, such as problems with breathing, problems with your breasts (never bind for long amounts of time), bruises, tightening, and in worst cases? Broken ribs. (ACE bandaids aren't made to bind.)

^^ You can order binders online, from plenty of places. (May I suggest Underworks? They seem to be considered really well, I don't own a binder yet... So... I wouldn't know but I've read online that they're better for us with the... well endowed chests.)

In a world filled with diversity, I am just another oddity.

I'm a work-in-progress, take it or leave it.

My advice: Do what makes you happy in that moment. I think that until you can put a solid yes or no on what you want to be try out both sides to see what you want. It's a personal decision that I think only you can reach.

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.”
- Winnie the Pooh

I may not know you, but I love you.
