So my parents are extremely homophobic, though my mother is a bisexual woman.
I am a questioning(possible trans guy), panromantic, asexual person.
My parents are extremely against it whatsoever.
I go by Ashton at school, and really everywhere besides home, and my parents are always making fun of me for it.
I don't know what to do because it is degrading and honestly increasing my suicidal ideation.
I'm in an outpatient program but they never really gave me advice on what to do in this situation since it's not directly tied to my mental health I guess?
It is but it isn't.
But anyway, I'm just overwhelmed, and idk what to do about my parents.

Honestly I'm out to my parents as asexual but not out to them about being nonbinary because it's not safe for me to do that right now.since I still live with them. It doesn't sound like it is safe for you to talk to them about your gender identity right now since they are just going to make fun of you and make you feel more suicidal. Maybe you can mention celebrities and characters that are similar to you to start normalizing it.

Hello, I am sorry that you are going through this and I hope that you will be okay soon. When you are at school see if they have groups on this that you can join and try talking to someone at school about this, the school counselor or teacher and see if they can help you. I hope everything works out for you.
