Picking a name!? (trans related)
So, i am ftm trans and want to start opening up a little more than i have ever with peoplebut before i do i want to get some ground laid. I kinda need a masculine name, something that isnt unisex or my birth name: arielle. Any ideas?

Not. Too similar. My current nickname/pnumonic divice for saying my name is Relff but i dont like it as a reall name. I like mark. But that doesnt work, mark kohls is weird.

Aaron, Carl, Christopher, Richard, Derek... In my head those ones sound good with Kohls. Just don't choose Alex. That one's mine. :p

what about Aaron, Keven, Michael or is it (Micheal) my friend switched the e and the a so i am never sure how to spell it any more, those r just a few i can think of

Im M to F so i might be to much help. But 1 problem is the name HAS to suit YOU. If youre not got going to be completey masculine, dont choose an overly masculine name. Youre prone to over combinasting your masuclinaty(i know i do it with my fem) so heres some names i think.
Josh(had to get it in there) Julian(Jules for short) Bill(William, billy) Petter(not my fave xD) Kane Chris Rhys(welsh name) Adam Luke Mathew Jacob Jack Sometimes to help yourself reply to a name its better to choose one starting with the same letter. This also helps other people accept your name. I didnt do this, so i cant make you xD also i have a problem with taking another persons name, make sure theyre ok with it if you do so. My freind wasnt so ok xD |

James (Kohls) , Daniel (Kohls), Sebastian (Kohls) , Stephan (Kohls) , Nathan (Kohls), Tristan (Kohls). Just some I like, that also sounded good with Kohls. =)

Are there any names you've always liked, or always felt you had a connection with?? I think you might be able to know the right one when you see it, it'll just feel right. The others have given good suggestions though.

Yeah. Giacomo as in casanova the venician dude. His name was giancomo casanova. And abott i found on that baby names site.

How is "Giacomo" pronounced? Is it "gee (as in "geezer")-ah-como (like the Spanish word for "how")" or "jee (as in "Jesus")-ah-como"? Or something completely different? Either way, I like the sound of Abbott Giacomo Kohls. :) |

Jack-a-moe : its french hence the goofy spelling: Giacomo. But also the "j" sound is more of a j and an sh added together sometimes described as a zh(z+sh) sound.

I'd say go to some baby naming sites and look through the names till you find one you like, the best baby site I go to is www.babynames.com try that, just look through some and you'll find one :)
