LGBT related music?
 
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, first of all... I didn't know if I should put it here or in the media part of the website.

So... If you know of any particular songs or artists that are LGBT related, please feel free to share. I'm updating my iTunes and I don't have many songs like this. :)

They are a lesbian couple. They have a wonderful techno vibe to them. I'm straight but I still love their music. The music videos are good too. Insightful to situations in the life of a gay woman.

I'm only going to repeat...t.A.T.u. The black-haired girl in the couple actually gets pregnant during her singing career and does a music video while pregnant. Her girlfriend is going to end up being the "father" figure.

I love them so much! I liked them before I actually realized I was bisexual.

How did I not mention Tegan and Sara? They're lesbian twins that make amazing music :D Though I can't recall any of their songs being about LGBT, I guess some of their songs could be thought to concern their sexuality.

The Cliks are an awesome band with a transgendered singer. Tegan and Sara also of course. Missy Higgins is bisexual, but if you're looking for specific songs about same sex relationships it's kinda hard to know which songs are about men and which are about women (not that it really matters).

Most of their songs are about love so I'd say about 95% concern their sexuality.

Yeah, I just meant you know, overtly. You wouldn't particularly be aware they were singing about other girls, just like you wouldn't always be aware straight singers were singing about the opposite sex. :p

Embrace- Nature's Law. It's not strictly about LGBT but It deals with the internal struggle and I think many people here could relate.

Closest I can think of is Kaki King. Most of her music is purely instrumental but she sings occasionally, and one or two of her songs are about relationships. I'm mainly just plugging her because she's a godlike guitarist, though.
