Interested? - May 3rd 2009, 01:50 AM

Ok so there is this guy that I like. We have been friendly since last year but this year we really started talking to each other more. I went to dinner with him a month ago, but he said that it was just "2 friends catching up." He knew the waitors and everything and they assumed I was his girlfriend but he told them we were just friends. I asked him to prom and he said yes and seems really excited about it so I don't really know where he is coming from. Then tonight he asked me to dinner again and we had a great time, but we did this awkward wave thing at the end of it. Everyone tells me that the 2 dinners were dates but I'm not sure. I don't know if he just wants to be friends or if he is interested in me. Anyone have any thoughts?

There's not really enough hints about how he acts to say he's interested or not. But asking on dates is tough to do, and usually one only does it with someone they have interest in... so there could be potential.

Sounds to me like hes interested .. you could always ask him outright or take the easy way and see how it plays out.
do you like him?

well at first we started off as friends but the more we've gotten to know each other, I've started to like him as more than just a friend. I'm afarid to tell him though because like 2 years ago I did the same thing with this guy and he told me he just wanted to be friends, but our friendship got all awkward and now we barely talk with each other. I don't want that to happen with this guy, especially because we are really great friends and because I've really started to like him.

He may just be a tad dense when it comes to girl's emotions, but I'd guess he probably likes you, he seems into it, so he'll probably come around to it if he wants to? I guess all you can do is wait, unless you don't want to. :]
