Long story short... - May 20th 2014, 06:00 AM

I was in a dark place. So dark my mind just shut down and stopped having emotions. So I made a mask. I wrote down every part of the personality I had before and altered it so nobody noticed that I had fallen. One part of that mask was getting a fake crush so I would be like everyone else. I chose a girl named... felicity, for the reason that A, I had over heard her say she doesn't like me last year and B because on paper she would be the best match for my fake personality. This last week has caused me to actually feel emotion for the first time in months. She was the main reason for that. I have been pretending to like her (hanging out with her lots, gushing about her to friends the sort of stuff guys are supposed to do) but I never actually liked her. But now I do, and I don't know what to do since one of the reasons I chose her was because she didn't like me (last year). So should I just remain her friend, should I cut all ties, or should I go for it?

If you feel that you like her go for it, if you don't, don't. It's pretty simple, I think. If you actually genuinely like her than you should spend more time with her and see how things go. Don't do it for the sake of it.

If you like her, tell her personally. Ask how she feels in return. There's no need to over-complicate things.
