Exclamation He liked me ...now I like him - January 25th 2010, 01:49 AM

I have known him for 5 years. We met in fifth grade and both secretly liked each other the whole year. We are now sophomores in high school. Since fifth grade I've liked him multiple times and he has liked me more times than I liked him. Being a stupid middle schooler I would lead him on and think it was funny. The times I have liked him Ive been too scare to tell him or he didn't like me. Well after two years of not liking him surprise surprise I like him. Beig older I would like to finally take this somewhere; funny thing is this time he isn't as interested. He is flirty with me but I don't know how much he means it. He was textig his ex last time we hung out - it was at a friends party.

We were flirting a lot during the party- play fighting, sitting really close, teasing, etc. We texted a while after and the next day. Today he never texted me the party was Friday today is Sunday. I started both pre ious text conversations but not today. If he didn't text me today does that mean he is t interested or am I overanalyzing?
He would laugh at my texts and would say my name so I thought that was good but don't really know.
He sits behind me in one class and our lockers are two away. How do I get him to like me this time?? Please help.

** we are friends but have drifted a bit in the last two years(different friend groups but close friend groups)

Well... He seems like a 'friendly' guy. How many people did he flirt with at the party?

Its sounds like he is interested in you, but you two just haven't been hanging out enough lately. Maybe when you're texting him ask if you can call him. Sometimes talking on the phone is an easier way to talk openly. And while you're doing this maybe you could invite him to a party or something Talking more often could string your friendship back together and when it's tight enough, ask how he feels about you once you both are comfortable and able to talk to each other about anything. You two could just need to strengthen your friendship for him to have feelings for you again But of course he is at that age where he is just naturally flirty or seems flirty all the time :/
