Arrow turn a friendship to a relationship? - February 11th 2010, 03:12 AM

so heres the deal.

i known this girl for about 2 years. i talk to her alot, shes very caring, likes some things i do and if she doesnt like them she still goes with the flow. really patient with me and pretty understanding. always there to listen. does alot for me. im sure she has a crush on me. we have kissed before. she is a great friend and could be a great gf. but when i kissed her, i felt no spark, im pretty much not attracted to her at all. but she has all the best qualities that a gf should have. im not sure what to do. thats a friendship i dont want to ruin. any tips? should i follow and see where this goes or just keep a good friend?

If you didn't feel a "spark" when you kissed her, then I'd say to leave things as they are. If you feel differently about her in the future, then there's no reason why you can't pursue a romantic relationship then. =) But you shouldn't try to force yourself into loving someone (in a boyfriend/girlfriend way).

If there's no spark, then its not worth it. Stay as friends.

It doesn't sound like you want her as your girlfriend in which case... don't have her as your girlfriend. Some things just aren't meant to be. This sounds like one of them. Don't pursue a relationship you're not 100% committed to, even if it's with high hopes of it becoming something brilliant, because it will not end pretty.
