where should we go on our first date? -

so i met this guy online. (dont worry, i know hes safe) and we have been talking for a little while now. i kinda like him and im pretty sure he likes me. we've been talking about finding somewhere to meet.
both of us are kinda shy and want the other to decide where we go. we were talking about maybe movies but im not sure we have the same taste. what should i suggest we do and how do you think i should sugest it? any advice would help. thanks.

I wouldn't suggest the movies if you want to get to know him more because you can't really talk while the movie is on. Try going to a game place such as arcade games or just go hang out in the mall.

Go to a park or play mini golf or if their are any festives around go to them. Find somthing local atraction you might have overlooked before. Just don't be alone with him. I know you say he's safe but you never know.

Make sure the first time you meet hims in a public area, if anything seems sketchy I.e, he's really late and you notice someone else around that seems suspicious, chances are the dude wasn't really who you think he is.

the park or bowling? i think it would be better than a movie because at least you get to talk to each other.

Coffee shop like Starbucks is in my opinion the best place for a first date because it's public. Also if you are like me, you will enjoy people watching and you can poke fun of things to the girl/guy you are on a date with.

Same situation. We met at a coffee shop. Like everyone else has said, even if you think he's safe, meet in a public area, don't have him pick you up at your house.
