Unhappy Should I feel this upset about a dream? - June 26th 2010, 06:49 PM

So I've liked this guy for a while (rob), but things were weird between us for a while. We had hung out two times, but then we both were really busy the last month of school and we didn't talk much and it was weird.

Anyway, I finally hung out with him again yesterday. He and his friend(mitch) came over to my house for a little bit to hang out while waiting for my two friends(Abby & laine) so we could see toy story three. The three of us hung out for an hour and a half then Abby and laine came over and we all went out to eat. Abby and laine sat up front and rob sat between Mitch and I. After we ate we went to see toy story 3. Rob and I through a series of events ended up sitting next to one another in our own row (both by choice) nothing happened and I wasn't expecting anything, but it was nice jus t being by him - especially because he knows that I like him and so it says a little something that he chose to stay sitting next to me.

After the movie we all hung out in town in a park near the lake. It was late, but we all had fun . Then as we came near one spot rob mentions that that was where he has his first kiss ad although I didn't show it, it made me very jealous and a bit sad as well. We had to go home soon after that bc the park closed. We all went home after that, but it seemed like we all had fun.

Later that night I had a dream about that night, but his ex girlfriend from last year was there along with me rob and Abby. We all hung out, then rob pulled his ex away and kissed her for a really long time and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. I started crying on my dream. I don't think I realized how much I still like him. Then when I woke up I couldn't remember if it was real or not and I felt like someone had stabbed me in the stomach. Now I know it was a dream, but i feel sick to my stomach every time ithink of it and it makes me want to cry. I'm really upset about it. I'm never this upset about dreams - is it normal to be this upset about it?

It's normal to be upset. I would have been too. That's the kind of dream where I would wake up in the middle of the night and wake my boyfriend up, so he can hug me .

Just make sure that you don't take the dream as a premonition or anything. It doesn't mean anything, except that you obviously like him a lot and that you were jealous about him having his first kiss with someone else. It does not mean that they will ever get back together.

PM me!

Dreaming about the day
When you wake up and find
That what you're looking for
Has been here the whole time.

Not gonna lie. I didn't read it much. But I think I get the main concept of it. I've had planety of dreams before that can alter my emotions for a period of time but don't worry, it will fade!
