What are different ways to lead a girl on?

I've been liking this girl for quite a bit now. But I'm a really shy person and when i try to talk to her i get social anxiety issues (AKA stuttering). I wanted to first let her know im intrested, because that way starting a convo would be more easier

My question is.. Is there ways to lead someone on(let them know your intrested) with actually saying something?

Girls are really good at reading body language (well most are), we can often tell when you guys are slightly interested just by the way you look at us, or the way you stand next to us.

Maybe you could get her a little gift, a little trinket of some kind (Maybe even one you could put a note in?!)

Sometimes though, talking is the easiest way, just do deep breathes and count to ten before talking

I agree with the comment about using body language to convey your interest in her. =) Smile when you're around her, try to make eye contact every now and then (not in a creepy, hawk-staring-at-prey sort of way, though), and sit closer to her. Some touching would probably be fine as well, so long as you don't go overboard or invade her "personal space". xD So maybe putting your hand on her shoulder to get her attention, or a quick hug every now and then.
