Too young.. -

Im 16 years old and i have a 12 year old brother. One of his friends.. I see him quite alot and ive got really close to him and we talk alot and everything but the problem is hes the same age as my brother
 Hes such a nice boy and i love talking to him but i wish so much that he was older. And i think it would be wrong if i went out with him wouldnt it?Although he seems quite mature for his age. But yeh it just keeps bugging me cos i like him but i cant magic him to be older lol  and i know your prob gunna say find someone near my own age.. but he seems so much nicer than boys my age haha. any advice???

Well, you could always have him as a friend. The thing is at our age, even four years makes a big difference as far as dating because you are at complete different stages in life. For example, whereas he is in junior high you are what maybe a junior in high school.
If he is very mature for his own age though then maybe a casual relationship could work. Do you know if he feels the same way about you. |

no i dont really know how he feels. Hes really sweet and tells me im gorgeous and stuff but im not sure if he fancys me. I just thought it would seem wrong if i went out with him cos he seems so much younger.

I do think 12 is a little too young to start dating. Maybe you could stay friends, it would seem a little weird if you did go out with him.

I don't think he's too young to date, but I think your age difference means too much right now. Later in life, it wouldn't matter as much, but if a highschooler would be dating like a 6th or 7th grader in my school district, I'd think it was a little off... Sorry... but then again, it's only your opinion that matters, right?

wait a year or two, then go girl! I was asked out by a guy who is 3 years old
 it was weird, but he's a perv, so it's different!You should stay friends with him till then! Good Luck
