Older Man

I'm 16 and I'll be 17 next week. The guy I like just turned 21 and I think he is going to ask me out on Friday. He's a good christian and doesn't smoke, drink, or do drugs of any kind. He is the nicest person ever and I don't even realize hes older than me until someone mentions it. Am I being to naive about this? Should I date him or not?

If you're attracted to him and want to know him better then I see no problem with it. You have to learn from you're own mistakes anyway.

There is no problem going out with older guys! If you like him and you think that you two are going to be good for each other, go for it girl! There is no problem in that at all!

It's not even that big of an age difference. I don't see any harm in it. If you're into him, you should definitely go for it! Good luck.

Go for it. But as you know, get to know him before you decide to be official about dating him.

Great to hear it, congrats. 4 years difference isn't really much to worry about at all, especially if he's trustable. And a little late but happy birthday too.

thats not a big age difference my mates 19 and is dating a 48 year old! a 3 -4 year age gap is fine, anything more than that to me seems a little bit wrong.
