Cheating :/

This is a hard thing for me to post, but last night I cheated on my bf. I was extremely drunk and the other guy was someone I have hooked up with before. I feel like on top of letting my bf down and betraying him, I have betrayed myself because I am not a cheater and I do not know how I ever let that happen. Anyways other than me feeling like a complete fool and very guilty, I know I will never do this ever again. Does anyone have advice on what I should do to get past this?

Tell your boyfriend; as hard as that may be. It would be better for him to hear it from you then to hear it from somebody else. If he forgives you; thats great. But you should probably be prepared for him to want to break up with you. Forgiveness takes time, and maybe he will want to get back together with you later on.

Yeah, you have to tell him. Honesty is (usually) the best policy, just let him know that there was alcohol involved.

you should tell him. at least you feel bad about it, i suppose that's something but idk if it'll make a difference to him. maybe you guys can work through it, depends on how forgiving he is i suppose. drunkenness is no excuse in my book.. so yeah, just be honest with him.
