waiting for that one person

i have never gone on a date, never even been kissed.
im waiting for that one person, who will see through my appearance and love me for me. the one who wont call me hot or sexy, but call me beautiful. that one person who would text me every day just to say good morning. that one person who would be the most amazing person to stick with me even when times are rough. i just hope i dont have to wait too much longer.

Hon, many of us look for that person that truly cares and sees your inner beauty. It will take time and chances are that you won't meet that person until you've gained some personal experience in the dating world. If your really 13, don't worry, you have sooooo much time to spend weeding through the crappy dates and careless narcissists.

Finding that "one" takes wisdom and love. You WILL know when you meet that person, but I can guarantee you won't get close until you get into your later years of high school, and even then your still probably going to be weeding through the wastes of skin. Just date here and there so you can figure out what a caring and sweet person acts like. They are few and far between.

ahh i know, i wish it was easier. i guess i have just always been ready for a true relationship with someone who i could potentially spend my life with. im just that kind of person haha.

I agree with this, Sarah. It will come; you just have to be patient. There is a big chance that you won't meet "the one" on your first try. There is plenty of time ahead of you to get your first kiss and first date. Some people don't get their first kiss 18+. So don't worry about it. Relax & go with the flow. Let the love come to you? Well, the good news is that that challenge isn't as daunting as it seems. In reality, there is more than one person for everyone in the world; it's just a matter of how compatible you are with them. The person will come into your life when the time is right for it. However, it may be easier for that to happen when you are sure of what you want in a guy and you aren't going to compromise just to be in a relationship with someone. Start thinking about the traits you want, and don't be afraid to hold out until someone with most of those comes along. Just don't make it too perfect a list, or else you'll pass up some good guys along the way.
