Should I speed it up??? - February 22nd 2011, 08:40 PM

I'm 13 and I've been going out with my bf for a month but it's really awkward ??? He doesn't really talk to me, on text it's great but I don't know whether I should move forward? Should I kiss him?
Thanks x
My bad I was 14 on Wednesday x

This may sound obvious... but have you tried talking to him about how much easier it is to "talk" over text versus in person? If you're going to have a happy, healthy relationship, you'll need to be able to communicate about problems you're having. Speeding things up may or may not help - you won't know until you sit down and talk about it!

As couple, talking should be easy going and fluent. You cant just have small talk. Anyone can talk and text through a phone. Speaking in person with someone makes a great deal of differnce. Im sure you like spending time with him. Get up and go hangout with him. A course of a relationship usually sets its own path and love will grow. Your very young you will meet plenty of boys. Just make sure you respect him and he respects you. A boy thats not trying to make a realtionship work does not deserve your love.

if you guys cant even have a normal conversation in person without it being awkward then that is something that needs to be fixed, if you cant even talk to each then dont you think that even kissing would be awkward.

Thanks for your advice :-)
He's shy and our friends keep making it awkward cos they keep pressuring us; you know always 'go on hold his hand!' and 'you know he really loves you and wants to kiss you!' ??
