Moving in! -
March 5th 2011, 11:12 PM
So as of 3:00 today my boyfriend and I officially have a year long lease on an apartment starting June 1st!
So this got me thinking, how long were you and your partner together before you moved in with each other? What made you decide you were ready? Was it a place you both had your name on, or did one of you just move in with another? Or if you haven't moved in yet, what do you think your answers to those questions?I was just curious to hear other people's opinions and stories! “For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.” 9.12.09 <3 Tumblr http://lovelylaughter.tumblr.com/ |

I moved in almost after he proposed! (which was like, a year and a half-ish) I was already spending almost all my time with him at his place, and spending nights already.
Right now, the place is his, but when we get married, my mom offered us her house (the one I grew up in) for us so she could downsize. One of the best things; you really get to know the other person. Even if they do take a shower, sit on a chair (fabric, nonetheless) in a towel, going on youtube to sing at the top of his lungs but, that also means you see each other when you/they are in a bad mood. It can make or break the relationship. A lot of people don't show everything until they're in the same house, used to each other and have that trust there. The littlest thing can set someone off. It basically just comes from knowing each other and what to do when they're in a mood! Knowing each other, and the stereotypical "communication" because it is the BEST and most needed thing in a relationship. Especially when living with each other
