I don't date im 16 and ive only had 1 girlfriend that only lasted for a week so
I was wondering is it weird that i don't date?

No, thats not weird at all. Several people don't have their first relationship until they are 18 or older. 16 is still fairly young and you've got plenty of time for relationships. Lots of my friends still have not had their first relationship and they are 16 too. Highschool is a tricky place, often these things don't last. So don't worry about it

It's not weird that you don't date. It's a personal choice, and what you do with your choices is up to you. However, you can't base your personal choices on what other relationships you've seen. Just because a relationship ends doesn't mean that person is doomed to remain single forever. All relationships don't make it. I've endured several break up's in my life, some that hurt immensely, however, I've been in a successful relationship of almost two and a half years.

I don't think it's weird at all. Several of my friends have never been on a date before. Some people just aren't interested in having a relationship until later in their life. If you don't want to date, just for now, or for a long time, then that is completely up to you. I do agree with Shannon though, while some relationships don't work out, the ones that do make all the heartache and the hurt worth it. However, it is still your choice, no matter what.

I don't do relationships at all, and I find it so funny when people roll their eyes and insist that I'll "grow out of it" one day. I only have so much anger and frustration to spare; no more.

Everyone is different. Everyone experiences the world differently, values different experiences differently, etc, etc, etc. None is more or less valid than any other. Don't bother listening to the folks that claim otherwise.

It's not weird at all.. But you really shouldn't not date because you've seen other relationships fail. I think it's really sad that some people assume nothing will work for them because certain things don't work between certain people.

There's going to be plenty of time for you to find someone you do want to be in a relationship with, and that's clearly what's right for you.

I don't really date that much. I've been in like three relationships. I have to really have serious feeling for the person to start dating them otherwise I don't.

Definitely not weird. I didn't have my first boyfriend until 16 (literally a day before I turned 17). It's not uncommon. Everybody is different, just go at your own pace. (:

It is completely normal.
I didn't start dating till 16, but I can see not wanting to date because of other relationships that you've seen etc. I think it is a perfectly normal thing and you don't have to date if you don't want to. Just know there will be good and bad relationships and of course there will be hurt, but there will be love/joy/happiness etc.
