girlfriend coming to visit? - September 15th 2011, 08:09 PM

Hey everyone

So I'm going to visit my boyfriend for the first time since he moved to university this weekend. He's alway lived a while away, but now instead of living at home he's living in a small house with a couple of his friends who are in their second year of university. I've met them before and I really like them, but I'm still really nervous to go! I'm still in high school, so I don't want to seem like a little kid to them :s I mean, I'm living with them the whole weekend so I want to make a good impression.

I was kind of just hoping for some suggestions on what to do while I'm there. Guys, if your roomies gf was coming to stay what would you think about it? Should I like bake cookies or something before I go? Lol, any ideas of thingsthat would make me be accepted by a group or 19-20 year old guys would be great

Let me know what you think!

I've been on the end of this where my roommate had a significant other coming to stay in the house for a weekend, so I know what it's like to be on the other side of this. Honestly, the main thing would maybe just try not and be anti-social with the rest of them and don't avoid them. Just treat it as normal. Be aware, you are going into a house full of guys, so just be prepared for that and all of the possible stereotypes that go with it. That's not by any means saying it'll be like that, but, . Oh, and uhh...if you have a physical relationship with your BF...try and keep the noise down... ;P

Yeah I'd bring food ~ they'll love you. The others gave good advice; I know you'll obviously want to spend loads of time with your boyf but make sure you interact with them and don't steal him from them too much and they'll love you.

College students love food. Guys love food. So what better way to make a good impression to guys in college than with food? Lol
