What is it you love most about being in a relationship???

Im just wondering what you see is the best thing about a relationship...

I just like the fact that I know there is always someone to turn to when things turn to shit with ur family and friends (it has happened to me soooo many times!)

My opinion is the same as yours: I know that if I need him, he's always there. I also hate sleeping alone, so my favorite part of my day is when I can cuddle up next to him to fall asleep

I'm surprised that so many people put down "having someone to snuggle with". Don't get me wrong, I think that's a great aspect of being in a relationship - but realistically, you can do that with ANYONE. Heck, you could do it with your dog. =P

I'm leaning more toward the "having someone who fully accepts me", but it's more than just that. It's about reciprocity - wanting to give and give, and never feeling like you can give enough, because in your mind, they deserve everything you have to offer and more... and you know they feel the same way. There's a level of commitment that is both exciting and terrifying, but you are both willing to put yourselves out there anyway.

One thing that makes my boyfriend a star: I actually come out with a lot of nonsensical mindless babble. My anecdotes aren't that interesting really, my jokes not that funny....but he still listens to them all and laughs when appropriate. He never makes me feel boring or silly. So what I really like is that when I want to share something about my day with someone, however tiny or uninteresting, he'll be there to listen and appreciate it.

Being able to tell someone anything and everything about yourself, and feel entirely comfortable. That feeling when you know everyone can see you together, and are proud because you care about them so much. The inside jokes that come from being around a person so much and talking to them so often you know pretty much everything about them. The ability to flirt as much as you want, or say something completely perverted, and still feel comfortable around that person.

I couldn't have said it better. Though, I do adore the cuddling part, especially because in general I don't like physical contact, but I love it with my boyfriend.

I love the fact that you'd never be lonely when your with someone. It's all about butterflies, happy, giddiness. It's a natural high off of life when your with someone who gives you those feelings. Somebody who makes you feel emotionally (and phyiscally :P) safe! You can talk to them about anything. Cuddle with them while watching a movie. Theres so many things I like about being in a relationship, when it's not all about sex.

Someone who makes important decisions together with me. Someone to make silly traditions with. Someone who accepts me for me, and vice versa. Someone who I love with all my heart and who loves me with theirs. Really amazing sex. Someone who can always smile and laugh and hold my hand. And someone who can fill me up emotionally, and for whom I can do the same.
