Look, I read these threads about all you people who get girlfriends and sex and all that, but how are you guys so lucky? Ive never even been given the time of day. Im 0-10 asking out girls. Im a very nice person. I look amazing (but Im not actually vain). Im on a state championship football team as a sophomore. Im very smart. Im not social though, and i tried for a while to act confident in myself, and no one noticed. I dont understand why nobody likes me though, I havent done anything outside school with a friend in two and a half years! People dont like me for some reason, and the most attention ive ever got was when I was about 4...
would having a real friend help me out getting girls? Ive always been excluded, and I have no clue why... its not like im socially awkward(contrary to what I just said), i just dont talk a lot. But theres another guy in our school whos just like me whose a total stud!

Some people just have a hard time making friends. I was the exact same way my entire life all the way up until high school. I was nice, but I was shy because people hated me and I never knew why. I was never mean to anyone and always tried to make friends but never succeeded. I went through a living hell for years, I was brutally beaten by others around me, I had my head slammed into lockers, death threats all around me, punched in the face, held down and beaten in the locker room, you name it. I could not escape it. Then something amazing happened. I found a real friend when I started high school. I made more and more friends and I finally began to enjoy living. The reason I've told you all this is to make a point: There is NOTHING wrong with you. So many people get excluded, but there is always hope to find real friends even if you can't see it. Sometimes you have to be patient, but in your case I'd say you need to assert yourself. At lunch go to a different table and sit down, try talking to the people there. Talk to new people in the halls before classes start, find opportunities to get to know them and become their friend.

Being social would help. You need to put yourself out there, and get out of this state of mind where everyone hates you. Chances are these people don't even know you, and you're accusing them of not liking you.
