ive been knowing this guy since 2003 and things are a little bit rocky.what are some love quotes for him/her that you be saying to your love partner to make them smile and let them know you really care and that you not gonna give up?

Sometimes, words can only go so far. Actions definitely speak louder than words. Love quotes and sayings could be taken from anyone. That makes it seem impersonal. Do something that shows them that you love and care about them rather than saying it. Sometimes, if the word love gets thrown around, people don't believe it and the meaning behind the word gets lost.

If I want to make my boyfriend smile, I show him how much I care for him by doing something he likes, such as: Making him a special lunch/dinner that I know he'll enjoy, or I'll get interested in a video game or sport he likes so we can talk about it. A simple kiss or hug also works too.

Just say exactly how you feel, it comes from the heart and if you really mean it, it will make them very happy. I always tell my boyfriend how much I love him and how lucky I am to have him. You have to just say what comes to mind, otherwise it will sound cliche and not as meaningful.
I agree with Shannon though, actions really do show how much you care.

I also agree with Shannon, actions are the way to go. For example, if my boyfriend has had a rough day or he's not feeling to good, he likes it when I sit by him and massage his back. After a little while he'll fall asleep. Or I make him brownies using my special secret recipe, they're his favorite. He even loves it when I sit down with him and play video games with him. It doesn't have to be anything big, it can be as simple as cuddling with him and watching a movie. Do something with him that he enjoys doing. Show him you really care and things should be fine.
