by best friends got close to having sex

ok first somthing you have to know about me. i was raised to be a gentleman and i was raised with great morals that alot of people say make me an amazing person. allot of parents love me because im a verry respectful person.




ok so my best friend ive ever had, audrey and i have a crush on each other but she also likes my friend tyler(this dosnt create tension between us we are like brothers) and today me and tyler went to my other friend hannahs house to hang out with the two girls (hannah and audrey) and we had fun all day it was getting around like 4:30 ish and we all were actually pretty tierd
tyler said "im going to go lay in your bed hannah"
hannah and audrey both agreed and they all went to her room and i followed, when in there they were talking about taking a nap together and i said id rather not sleep in the same bed with the two girls for fear of hannahs father or mom coming in and having a problem with it
tyler said "im really starting to think your gay rob"
i said "whatever im going to the living room"
so i go to the living room and watch a movie (evan almighty) after the movie i go back to the room because i was bored i was going to get tyler and go home i opened the door and on the bed sat tyler without a shirt hannah with out pants or panties on, when hannah saw me she hopped up and tried to cover herself upwith the shirt she still had on and befor i could see if audrey had any clothes on she slipped down and behind the bed so i couldnt see her... i told tyler to get his things that we were leaving he did and we went home... but now im so confused, the peopel that i was the closest to just almost had sex and one of them is the girl ive cared about for a verry long time.. they say nothing happened and they were just kidding around but im so confused and emmbarassed
i dont know how im going to be able to face them... what should i say?

I think honesty would be the best policy and it might even sound like something you see on childrens cartoons and TV shows, tell your friend exactly what you're feeling.

I think they were being like alot of teens are - experimenting and having a good time. Like you said, they almost had sex, but didn't so they were just fooling around - unfortunately it happen to be with a girl that you like. I understand why you are confused, but often teens do stuff like this, and to be honest (even though I'm sometimes a dirt bag), I would have easily done what Tyler did and try to get with both girls and try to simply have fun - which is what often the teen life goes to.

I agree with Jennifer, I would just tell her how you feel - "hearts are often broken by words left unspoken" and that is the truth, so I would just come out and tell her.

I agree with Chris.

While it hurts that there is a possibility that the girl you like hooked up with your friend, she has the right to do so. Your morals have nothing to do with what other people do, it has everything to do with what YOU do. You aren't in a relationship with the girl, and she can hook up with whomever she wants.

That being said, it sounds like they were being typical teenagers. Experimenting, having fun. Let's face it: we all have hormones, they were simply acting on them and got caught. Just be honest with them about how you feel.

I have to agree with Shannon. I wouldn't say they did anything wrong and don't read into it that they were about to have sex or had been. What they were doing was normal for anybody over about 14 or 15 and you signalled you weren't down for it and went in the other room. This doesn't mean that you have to engage in it by any means but don't be shocked when other people do. Next time knock

PS: You may be worrying too much about pleasing the parents and not enough about pleasing the girl you like.
