Male Advice Preferred: I had a dream about my girlfriend.

I had a dream last night about my girlfriend. It was the oddest thing I've ever experienced. We were together on my back porch and her parents were in my house. Seems normal up to this point right? Well, in my dream, she was naked. Her parents were trying to test me. They wanted to see what I would do when presented with the opportunity to take full advantage of their daughter. At this point her brother came out the door and fainted at the sight of his naked sister sitting next to me. I carried him back indoors and my girlfriends parents immediately asked me, "Did you have sex with our daughter?!?" I responded with a no and they seemed impatient with me, as if they were waiting for me to tell the truth, even though I had. My girlfriend then entered the room fully clothed and said I was telling the truth. My dream ended there. It scares me that this monstrosity if a dream came from my subconscious. I am a model gentleman and have no idea where this came from. I'm not a person to dream about this kind of thing. It is eating me up from the inside out. Especially because my girlfriend is my pastor's daughter and we've only been together for two months, not to mention she's almost two years older than I am! Please help!

Sometimes dreams are just dreams and they don't mean anything. Did you eat anything or listen to music before you went to bed? That can influence dreams and make them very strange.

Maybe you had this dream because she's you're pastor's daughter. This can cause some uneasy feelings in your subconscious. Do you feel like they keep an extra eye or two on you because you're dating their daughter? Or maybe you don't want to do something that will upset them? Just take it slow. Usually dreams mean absolutely nothing.

Like the above poster said, I have heard that if you eat peanut butter before bed it can cause some really weird dreams.

Dreams are just dreams. They don't really mean anything. We can't help what we dream about and if we could, we'd have a lot more happier dreams to talk about. It's probably because she's your pastor's daughter, and this is definitely a cause for concern in your subconcious. You're worried about doing the right or wrong thing, and getting the approval of her parents. It's understandable.

Well, it's good advice, but the problem with it is, I already have the approval of her parents. I've known them for nine years now. Ever since they moved down here from Massachusetts. They've watched me grow up and mature far beyond my years.

As has already been said, dreams are just dreams. Don't worry about it. In REM, your brain will cobble together all manner of things (usually in a way which doesn't make much sense) in an attempt to resolve any lingering thoughts or ideas from the day before. As Shannon says, what has most likely happened is you have, consciously or otherwise, been concerned about the fact your girlfriend is also your pastor's daughter and possible issues this may cause, and this has crept into your REM in this way. If anything, the fact that you acted as you did in your dream reinforces what you've said about your attitude towards your girlfriend, so that's something positive to take from it. Outside of that, there really is nothing to worry about.

Like everyone above me has said, dreams are dreams, and you can't control them. Not to mention you're a teenage boy; most teen boys dream about naked girls at some point. Just because you had a dream about her naked doesn't mean you want to see her naked in real life. You shouldn't worry about it too much. Just try not to think about it, because there's nothing to worry about.

Dreams can be about anything. Some dreams can be about something you want to do even if you don't know you want to do it. It could also mean nothing at all. Don't be worried or anything most guys will have a few dreams like this in your life. Only be worried if you have the exact same or similar dream 4 or 5 times.
