Im sooooo confused

Ok one day I got handed a note from a girl I like. It read "her name here" <3 "my name here." And so I passed her a note back and she wrote back awwww! Then when I was talking to her later on fb I asked her something about me and she replied I DONTCARE I DONT LIKE YOU! And now she will hardly talk to me and her friends all say that she doesn't like me but I catch her staring or smiling at me all the time! What does this mean? (BTW this isn't the girl from my last thread!) DOES SHE NOT LIKE ME OR IS SHE JUST MESSING WITH ME????

Honestly, it sounds like she's just messing with you. I was on the recieving end of this exact same situation a few years back, and it wasn't fun. If she is messing with you, it's very mean and you shouldn't waste your time with her, because you deserve better.

To me - its sounds like she is messing with you as well - or she can just be a friendly person and likes to smile alot and look at people. You cant always judge or assume someone likes you from actions. If they tell you verbally they like you but then deny it later, then they are 100% messing with you.

I would let it go and not even talk to her anymore. Anyone who is willing to play with your emotions like that doesn't deserve a chance to be with you or even talk to you. Find someone who will like you just as much as you like them and will not play with your feelings.

Don't get down about it! You're fourteen years old which means you have plenty of time to meet new people and new girls and get to know them! Hopefully over the next few years and months you'll get to know the girls that you already know a bit better and maybe once you guys are closer things will develop?

For the moment I'd have to agree with the others, this girl sounds like she's messing with you. Don't be dragged into it, when she smiles at you, smile back, be nice but I wouldn't get too involved with her, she doesn't sound like she's worth your time :]

I definitely agree that you're young, and there is plenty of time to meet new girls. Each year, a new crop of them will roll into your high school, and even if you've known them your entire life, people change all the time and one of them might end up being the girl you fall for. This girl is just a jerk, and she doesn't deserve you.
