Me: a yo-yo.....
My teacher: well dear, I'm sorry to tell you, but that's not a real yo-yo. Its knotted instead of looped in there. *takes yo-yo and unscrews it*
Me: Um...its a Duncan Butterfly... it works great.
My teacher: trust me, (my last name), I've had a couple yo-yo's in my time *takes out knife, pulls out the knot with the tip, and makes it a loop* "go ahead and try it now!"
Me: *yo-yo fail* it doesn't work now
My teacher: yeah but at least its legitament now. You'll get used to the switch.
-30 minutes later-
My friend: can I try it?
Me: yeah whatever
My friend: *yo-yo's it perfectly*
Me: let me see that *uses yo-yo* *string snaps due to my teachers wearing of the yarn with his stupid little knife*
