A river never felt so cool
When everything on Earth doesn’t move
Where you can touch the purple and blue
Displayed here is my new tattoo
*
More and more starts to flow
Inside pulse lost all control
But it still pours for those who know
Many secrets down below
*
Where no clouds show, but its pouring rain
Release all the answers it has to contain
A current so strong it feels no pain
All has reason to break the vein
*
There’s so much more he needs to see
He can stop it all from being empty
But he doesn’t stay; just lets her bleed
And the song replays in melodic symphony
*
Beats so close it’s hard to tell
All the notes that just gradually fell
Minor chords never sounded so swell
Yet a piece so beautiful feels like Hell
*
The current so strong, yet so hard to hear
By now you should know the end is near
The damage won’t be as much to fear
All that was hidden is now queer
*
Art this beautiful has so much to say
To offer a message in the right way
A souvenir so delightful, just like a bouquet
Petals fall faster to form an array
*
*
Once it clears, it’ll reveal his name
The one who holds all the blame
It’ll be easy to see it with the flicker of a flame
But never will he*feel any shame
*
It’s too late to ring the alarm
Every chain’s been broken to the charm
And “Jay” rests softly on her arm
Because he’s the reason she self harmed

I wrote this poem for my friend and also self harm awareness day. Enjoy!

~I was always scared of everything, even the carousel.~

~Don't worry about me. I'm sort of feeling fine, but by tomorrow, I'll be back on my feet again.~
