I have been self-harm free for a couple of years with a few slips a few years back. I battled self harm for over ten years and I never thought I would be where I am today. I personally found that focusing on how many days I went or planning a week, a month, or a few months only made it worse. When I don't think about it, don't focus on it, I do much better. Everybody is different, though. It is not an easy thing to overcome, but everyone can overcome it. The urges may always be there, but you and you alone have the choice.
