Perhaps this is something you can discuss with your girlfriend? Maybe you can let her know that this is something that you are scared about and see if you can be reassured a bit?

You said that you might have a packer by then, which is awesome. You don't have to do this next suggestion but perhaps you can see if there are any toys or objects that will make you feel more comfortable with sex?
