Re: Delayed period - April 5th 2016, 12:01 AM

You're probably only regretting it because you're scared. Having sex at 15 is young but it's not too young, like you're not 12-13 (which is definitely too young). You didn't do anything wrong, but of course don't do anything again until you are comfortable.

You're period being late probably isn't that big of a deal to be honest. Having sex and then stressing about it probably shocked your system and causing delays. Plus, 3 days isn't that much late even for the most regular person, especially when you are only 15 because periods can fluctuate when you're younger (or at any age really).

I've always thought that some people put waaaaay too much stock on the regularity of periods (not because it's you're fault but because some other authority figure didn't explain it right). What I've sort of learned is that it's mostly a range of days, like maybe you're period comes 27-30 days apart. It might average out to 27 days (the most common), but it might be totally normal for it to happen in 30 days (even if that comes up less). I think it would be a good idea to download a period tracking app like P Tracker - it's what I've used for years now and I've never felt the need to change because it's a simple app with everything I could possibly need but without unnecessary features. By using the app, you can learn more about the regularity of your cycle, including PMS symptoms
