You could ask them to join you for your therapy appointments. This way they can hear from a professional on why ongoing therapy is crucial to your mental health development, as well as ways that they can optimize your home life. Sometimes when people hear things from someone else, particularly a professional in their field, people tend to take the advice more seriously.
