Want to take a Break from College - September 13th 2017, 06:08 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

So just to get the gist of this out quickly, I have PTSD and a form of bipolar disorder that get in the way of nearly everything I plan. I had to be hospitalized for safety reasons last week which means I've missed an entire week of college classes. I'm so overwhemned it's making me suicidal again. So I've been thinking about taking a bridge semester to help but I'm not sure yet.

Has anyone else done that and found that your mental health improved, or was it a bad experience?

HAPPINESS is just waiting for me to take it; I truly believe that now.
