Re: Corona Virus. - April 5th 2020, 11:58 AM

My county has 100 cases as of Friday and we had our first death.

I'm glad Sarah shared a more positive story about her brother and sister in law recovering. Covid-19 should definitely be taken serious but I also feel like we are being bombarded with the number of deaths and not being allowed to see that a lot of people are recovering/only have mild symptoms. That's not to say we shouldn't still be social distancing or anything. I know there's a lot of asymptomatic people and we don't want to overwhelm the Healthcare system. For me, it has just been overwhelming when I see story after story about someone dying. It terrifies me. Makes me worry about my family. My dad's partner works at a hospital and neither of them are healthy so I get worried they'll get sick and die. Hearing a more positive story help with the fear.
