Change of mindset - July 23rd 2025, 10:34 PM

So, since I was ten, I've been self-harming, restricting food intake, and talking negatively about myself. I'm having a change of mindset. This is the only body I'm going to get, so why spend the time I have with it punishing it? I'm going to start eating healthy, working out(not because I hate my body, but so I can grow to love it), and I'm going to quit self-harming. The song 'Hi Hater' by Maino is one of my strongest inspirations right now to get that change of mindset. My dad also told me just to come back to school hotter than when I left, make people's heads turn, leave a mark. Just an hour ago I was crying because I wasn't pretty, and now I'm convincing myself I can just get prettier, not that I'm not already. And to those who struggle with body-imaging, it doesn't matter what you look like, as long as you treat yourself like you're you...that's what matters<3

I can't help but repeat myself
"I know it's not your fault"
Still lately, I begin to shake
For no reason at all
