Re: How to become less self conscious about using the toilet -

I used to be really self conscious about this, I found that reminding myself that everyone is using the toilets because they all need to go, whether thats a number 1 or number 2.. everyone is doing their business and most likely are not paying attention to what you are doing. also there so many sounds in a public toilet/restroom that there will often be sounds from others, there will taps running, store announcements/music playing (in some places) hand dryers going, people having conversations, and sounds of cubicle doors opening and shutting. The likelihood of someone hearing you pee is there but also how will they know it's you? I often choose a cubicle away from others which I find helps too, but usually no one is really paying attention to whether or not they can hear you peeing, in fact I don't think I've ever been in a public toilet and heard someone else peeing. Needing the toilet is a natural occurrence so try not worry.
