It’s a school policy. If they made an exception for you they would have to make an exception for every student that misbehaves. Detention isn’t supposed to be fun. Of course it’s boring, and of course they want to make you do some type of work. And it’s reasonable that your mom is punishing you too. I know my parents wouldn’t have even let ONE detention slide. I’d have been punished by them immediately. I know it sucks but these were the consequences for your own actions.

yes my parents didnt know about the other 3 normal detentions , they only knew about the saturday detention because i got a letter sent home, as if i wasnt punished enough i still had to serve the original 1 hour 30 minute detention that my maths teacher, again we all had to write a punishment essay t, this time on the importance of obeying school rules, so i lost my friday evening and also my satuday, wearing a school uniform on a satuday is not fun, my mum took me round all the shops people wearing staring, she even made me wear it when i got home, she said i deserved it for getting so many detentions, what do you think ?
