Brad Arnold - Today, 06:51 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

Brad Arnold, the lead singer and one of the founders of 3 Doors Down, has sadly passed away at the age of 47.

I don’t usually follow celebrities on social media or pay much attention to their day-to-day lives—it’s never really been my thing—but this news genuinely hit me. I’ve been listening to 3 Doors Down since I was about 13, for roughly 20 years now—more than half my life. Their music helped me through some difficult times and played a big role in shaping the kind of music I listen to today. I know he was unwell since last May and was really hoping there would be a breakthrough but at the same time, knew there wasn't much than could be done since it was Stage 4.

I know it might sound silly since I never met Brad Arnold, but his passing still feels significant. He was so young, and his work had a real impact on my life. There are very few public figures whose deaths have affected me like this, and he is one of them.

Rest In Piece, Brad.
