Don't feel guilty about wanting to study. It's obvious that your parents care a lot about you and want to be able to see you succeed, which is why your Dad has paid your loan.

Studying is expensive. Where I'm from, a four year university degree can put students into something like a $60,000 debt before they even start their lives.
