Re: I Feel so Stupid -

First, breathe. You are not stupid. This is your first week of college so it's normal not to know what to expect and even to be nervous. Some college professors do start up right away, so keep that in mind for future classes. If anything, apologize to your group members for being unprepared and make sure you work on things on time next time.
If you're worried about doing well, the number one thing I can suggest is staying in contact with your professors. Visit them in their office or at least email them for help when you need it. Professors are also more willing to work with students who they know are making an effort and it helps to put a name to the face. Your college might also have student tutors who can help you out in a class.
I'd also advise against procrastination, even though you didn't mention that in your post. It can be tempting to wait until the day before something is due to work on it, but it can get overwhelming!
Even though your friends are in different classes, you can still hang out with them. Maybe you can invite them to the library or student center/student union, or other place on campus. You all can do your individual assignments together while also chatting about different topics and just supporting one another.
The sun is always gonna rise up
You need to get up, gotta keep your head up
Look at the people all around you
The way you feel is something everybody goes through
