The thing is, to be absolutely blunt, when you do anything on the internet you are making what you do no longer private. You should not work on the presumption that what you're writing (or talking) about is private, it is far, far from private. What this guy is doing is not wrong. Millions of people use the internet and there is a strong chance that someone you know will stumble across what you write. You personally use your name, use your photograph, use your location and talk in depth about your personal life. By doing that, you have to see that you are putting yourself at risk of people from your "real life" discovering you on sites like this. That isn't "harsh" -- that's something you have to accept when using the internet. Especially if you put so many details about your own life up as you do.
