Hey there -

Hiding old scars can be tricky, especially when the weather's too warm for short sleeves. If they're on your wrist, try bracelets, a watch, or cover-up. If anything it'll make them a bit less noticeable, as others will see the bracelet first, instead of noticing scars right away.

What I've actually noticed, is that scars are much more noticeable to yourself than they are to the people around you. You know they're there and you know to look for them - others don't. So if you have a few white scars that are slightly visible it may not be that huge a problem.

I also agree with Lauren, being honest with your family may be helpful. If they know, it'll be easier for you to receive help and support when you need it. Or if counseling is something you think may help, it's easier to see a counselor when your parents are aware of what's going on.
