Love is a beautiful thing... something that no-one can ever take away from you or control. There's nothing about that (or anything else) that makes you inferior. Nothing whatsoever. You like girls. It's a fact, and it's certainly not something you can just choose to drop. And you know what? you shouldn't.
It's so important to both face and accept yourself for who you truly are. There are tons of people on this planet who, sadly enough, can manage to hate others just because of something as simple as their sexuality. But homosexuality isn't bad or anyone's fault. We all come in different colors and with different preferences. Anyone who has a problem with that, has got some serious issues to work out within themselves. Don't accept their twisted view though. This is your life, your happiness we're talking about. To be attracted to someone is perfectly natural, so don't waste your own time by denying yourself of / wishing away something as beautiful as love. Count it as a blessing, and roll with it. It's really all you can do, while staying true to yourself <3
if i've ever learned anything, it's to be loved.
funny how accepting and allowing that can be so hard,
when loving someone else can be so easy.
the thing is, we accept exactly what we think we deserve,
no matter what that may be.
so i'm thinking it's time to change our mindsets;
if we haven't yet figured out that we deserve the best,
then it's certainly time.
