I don't believe he was doing, just trying to explain it in a scientific manner..
As for the topic, Don't hate yourself for what you are. People are all different and have different personalities, different tastes different everything so why is being bi or gay/lesbian different to that, (thats my opinion)
Just be yourself, if people are your 'true' friends then they will stand by you. if not who needs people like that in your life?
