I dunno if this is the exact forum for this but since it deals with puberty I guess so.

I've been wondering for awhile where baldness comes from. I'm not going bald or anything, I'm 17 and have a full head of hair but however my dad started balding around my age. His dad has suffered hair loss as well. However I've heard the gene that depends on that comes from the mother's side (heard it from a hair stylist and a biologist) which in this case, my mom's dad has all of his hair and since my mom has no siblings, I look at my grandma's siblings who all had hair and even her dad did. So is it true that the baldness gene comes from the mother? Also, I keep thinking maybe my forehead is too high or something but I doubt it. I'm probably just concerned about nothing. How should I get my mind off of this.
