I think that the best time to have kids is when you're in a committed relationship with a person that you want to have kids with, when you're stable financially and you can support a child, and of course, when you feel that you're ready to become a parent. I'm not going to say marriage is a requirement, because I've known a few couples who hadn't tied the knot yet and had a baby. But I think that you have to have enough money to support it, and that's priority #1.
