Maybe try asking him why he always hangs around you and why he's always so nice to you. Theres always a chance that he'll confess that he likes you. Also, ask him if he likes anyone at your school and maybe he'll give you the hints that you are the one hes talking about.
And remember, don't be afraid to tell him how you feel to him, because if he feels the same way then it'll be so worth it in the end.
