I have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was in 5th grade. (Well, that's when I was diagnosed.) It affects all of my joints, but from 5th thru 7th grade it affected my knees tremendously. I found that Aleve works the best and Icy Hot takes the edge off. There's nothing that really helped me. If it's really bad, I'd use crutches or a wheel chair to help. I was also on a prescription medicine for a while.
